- fund various capital improvements for the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, including new generators for the city's electric power plant
- build new hospital in Columbus, Nebraska
- construct Desert Dome at Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, Nebraska
- build a new Lincoln Children's Museum
- build high school in Waverly, Nebraska
- fund digital conversion of Nebraska Education Television Network
- construct school additions for Norris, Malcom and Raymond Central in Nebraska
- provide maintenance for University of Nebraska - Lincoln buildings
- develop two new public libraries and adjoining parks in Lincoln, Nebraska
- build two public high schools, Southwest and North Star, in Lincoln, Nebraska
